- Mix 10 ml of Pomegranate Elixir with 200 ml of water, twice a day, between meals.
- Can also be mixed with soya milk.
- Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 7 weeks.
Ideally take the Elixir between breakfast and lunch, then between lunch and dinner, for example around 10 am and 4 pm, or before bedtime.
The bioavailability of polyphenols appears to be enhanced when they are preferably taken on their own, about 20 minutes before meals or, failing that, 1 hour 30 minutes after meals.
Avoid taking the Elixir with a heavy meal or with animal proteins (fish, meat, eggs, milk…). It can be combined with plant proteins, for example a plant-based drink (soya, nut) or a fruit salad.
IMPORTANT: the bottle MUST be kept in the REFRIGERATOR after opening, especially in summer.
Contraindications
Not recommended in case of gastric acidity and reflux (fermented product with acid pH).

An exceptional concentrate of pomegranate polyphenols
Dr. Jacob's Pomegranate Elixir is made from 95% pomegranate, in the form of partially fermented juice concentrate and pulp.
Thanks to its special bio-fermentation and concentration process, it provides 36,000 mg/l of polyphenols: a concentration around 35× higher than that of a standard pomegranate juice.
The Dr. Jacob's process
Bio-fermentation at the heart of the Elixir
Pomegranate naturally contains many polyphenols. What makes the Elixir original is a process combining bio-fermentation and concentration.
Fermentation notably transforms the complex structures naturally present in the fruit into simpler compounds, while concentration makes it possible to achieve a particularly high polyphenol content.
One 500 ml bottle
Concentrates the equivalent of more than 10 litres of standard pomegranate juice in terms of polyphenols.

The fruit at the heart of the formula
95% pomegranate
The Elixir is made of 95% pomegranate (Punica granatum), in the form of partially fermented juice concentrate and pulp.
The formula is completed with elderberry juice concentrate, vanilla and a blend of spices including cinnamon, aniseed, clove, cardamom, coriander, ginger and allspice, among others.

A 500 ml bottle represents about 25 daily servings of 20 ml.
To prepare a pomegranate drink, mix 10 ml of Elixir into 100 to 200 ml of water or soya milk and drink between meals.
Naturally a source of potassium
400 mg of potassium per serving
A 20 ml daily serving provides 400 mg of potassium, i.e. 20% of the RI. Potassium contributes to the maintenance of normal blood pressure.
