Why higher doses of vitamin K2?
With age, the organization is often exposed to particular situations and vitamin K needs are increasing.
Dr. Jacob's® vitamin K2D3 contains long chain (Menaquinone-7 or MK-7) vitamin K2 with particularly good bioavailability and a long half-life in the body.
Indeed, vitamin K2 has a half-life of about 3 days, which is about 50 times longer than conventional vitamin K1 (about 1 to 2 hours).
Therefore, vitamin K2 can reach efficient blood levels and deploy its effect throughout the body.
90% of the population does not have good vitamin D3 levels
When the intensity of sunlight is low, the production of vitamin D by the body and the food intake are generally not sufficient. As a result, only 10% of the Belgian and French population have a vitamin D level greater than 75 Nmol / L (or 30 ng / ml), which is considered good by the experts.
