Bioavailability and TCM oils
Dr. Jacob's® Vitamin Deka contains vitamins D, E, K and solubilized in TCM oil from coconut to optimize your assimilation of these vitamins.
Indeed, some people do not manage to raise their blood level of vitamin D. There may be different reasons, related to the dose, to the catch that must be done with a meal containing fats, etc. It is also possible that absorption is difficult.
Medium chain triglyceride oil (TCM) is composed of fatty acid that can be easily assimilated by people with fat absorption problems.
What benefit?
Most products use sunflower oil or rapeseed, that is, long chain triglycerides. This type of lipid is absorbed, like most fats, by the chylomicrons after being emulsified into the intestine. But a person who absolutely absorbs the fat will so badly assimilate the vitamin D incorporated in this type of oil.
On the contrary, the vitamin D solubilized in TCM oil, as found in Dr. Jacob's® vitamin Deka, can be easily absorbed by another system (door door, directly to the liver) including by individuals with lack of Grease absorption. This oily TCM form is therefore preferred to ensure better assimilation.
