Spirulina in liquid, concentrated form
Spirulina is a blue-green microalga naturally rich in nutritional compounds, in particular phycocyanins, the pigments responsible for its characteristic colour.
Spirulina Strong Phycocyanine is obtained from fresh spirulina grown in Brittany and processed using a patented cold extraction method in order to preserve its nutritional quality.

Spirulina grown in Brittany
The spirulina used is grown in France, in Brittany, near the bay of Pen Bé.
It grows in open ponds under greenhouses, at a temperature suited to its growth. The ponds are continuously stirred to prevent the spirulina from stagnating and to encourage its development.

Patented process
A cold extraction
The patented process uses fresh spirulina. The extraction is carried out cold, without solvents or chemicals, to obtain a liquid extract.
Sterilisation is also carried out cold: no heating step is involved at any point in the process.
This method preserves the various components of spirulina, in particular phycocyanins, polysaccharides and vitamins.
Why a liquid form?
The liquid form allows rapid absorption and offers a practical alternative to the dried spirulina traditionally sold as tablets or powder.
Spirulina's blue pigment
Phycocyanin at the heart of the formula
Phycocyanin is the blue-green pigment naturally present in spirulina.
Spirulina Strong Phycocyanine provides 15 mg of phycocyanins in each 5 ml ampoule, a concentration of 3,000 mg/L.

Spirulina is naturally rich in antioxidants that help the body protect itself against the consequences of oxidative stress.
Thanks to the cold extraction process, the antioxidant activity of the phycocyanins in this liquid spirulina is stated to be up to 50 times higher than that observed in dried spirulina.
A 12-week study with spirulina dosed at 1 g/L observed a significant reduction in oxidative stress in the spirulina group, unlike the placebo group. Spirulina Strong Phycocyanine has a concentration of 3 g/L.
