Melatonin is a hormone naturally produced by the pineal gland of the brain, but also in the gastrointestinal tract and in other parts of the body.
Melatonin is a compound derived from serotonin, itself derived from tryptophan. Its secretion is inhibited throughout the day thanks to the light. On the other hand, when it starts to make dark, it is released to allow falling asleep.
Its concentration naturally decreases with age and that is why the sleeping time generally increases with age.

Directions for use
- For fast falling asleep, 1 tablet per day to melt under the tongue, before bedtime.
- To mitigate the effects of the time difference: min. ½ tablet / J to be melt under the tongue.
