Natural source of sulforaphane & glucoraphane
Sulforaphane and glucoraphane are components that belong to the Glucosinolate group. They are found in crucifers, such as cabbage, cabbage, radish, broccoli, mustard or horseradish ... they are responsible for slightly puncturing taste.
Broccoli is an excellent source of sulforaphane and glucoraphane, especially seeds and germs. Since these compounds are sensitive to heat and water, their content is highly reduced in cooked vegetables. The consumption of unheated broccoli seeds is therefore a good alternative.
20 to 50 times more sulforaphane
Frozen or cooked, your broccoli will contain little, if not at all sulforaphane. On the other hand, the Broccoli seeds of Dr. Jacob's® contain 20 to 50 times more than the adult broccoli!
The bio bicoli seeds of Dr. Jacob's® contain ± 60 mg of sulforaphane and ± 70 mg glucoraphane per daily dose (10 g)!

How to consume?
For their glucosinolates contained in whole broccoli seeds are assimilated by the body, the seeds must be opened before being consumed. This can be done for example by grinding / crushing seeds, or germination. The germs can be perfectly used as a garnish for soups and salads.
Keep dry and cool.
How to germinate them?
- Soak 2 tablespoons seeds in water and this overnight.
- Rinse the seeds and spread them in your germ (sheltered from direct light, dry and at room temperature).
- Sprinkle slightly twice a day and clean.
- The germination time is a few days (3 or 4 days), enjoy!
Opt for 2-storey germwork to perform regular rotations and benefit from broccoli seeds regularly.
The presence of a small "white cloud" is normal and does not correspond, unlike appearances, to mold. These are actually secondary roots. A small rinse is enough to eliminate them quickly.
