Glutathione is an endogenous antioxidant, that is, manufactured by the body itself. It consists of three amino acids: glutamate, glycine and cysteine.
Unfortunately, its production decreases with age. It is therefore interesting to be supplemented in glutathione to continue to benefit from it.

Vitamin C¹ ² ³, vitamin star
Vitamin C is a well-known antioxidant vitamin for its role in the normal operation of your immune system. It also contributes to a normal energy metabolism.
Unfortunately, our body can neither synthesize it nor store it. It is therefore advisable to absorb sufficiently everyday life. However, vitamin C presents in our diet is very sensitive to light and heat. Therefore, a complementary contribution is advisable.
The essential synergy!
It is interesting to combine glutathione and vitamin C. These two components act in synergy:

Glutathion reduces vitamin C oxidized (dehydroascorbate) to regenerate it in its active form.

In return, vitamin C can also protect glutathion against oxidation.

Vitamin C deficiency causes a Decrease of intracellular glutathion (because it runs out by recycling vitamin C).

But if glutathion is missing, vitamin C oxides faster and its active level decreases.
