Triple-fermented black garlic
Extended fermentation to concentrate SAC
LF-Black Garlic provides a bulb extract of black garlic (Allium sativum L.) triple-fermented at low temperature.
This process produces an extract standardised to 1% S-allyl-cysteine (SAC), compared with 0.1% for standard black garlic extracts.
Garlic contributes to good blood circulation, including in the microvessels, and to the normal function of the immune system.

What sets us apart
Triple fermentation at low temperature
The black garlic in LF-Black Garlic undergoes a three-phase ageing process, carried out at low temperature.
This process naturally develops the characteristic compounds of black garlic and produces an extract containing 1% S-allyl-cysteine.
That is 10× the SAC concentration of a standard 0.1% black garlic extract.

Why does SAC make the difference?
S-allyl-cysteine (SAC) is one of the characteristic compounds that develop during the transformation and ageing of garlic.
LF-Black Garlic provides 1.5 mg of SAC per capsule, i.e. 3 mg per 2 capsules.
Standardisation to 1% guarantees a defined amount of SAC in each dose.

For LF-Black Garlic, this process is extended over three successive phases at low temperature to obtain the desired profile and a high SAC concentration.
