Iodine intake is not suitable for every thyroid condition: excess iodine can disrupt thyroid function in some people. The manufacturer contraindicates this product in cases of Hashimoto's disease or hyperthyroidism. If you have a thyroid disorder or are receiving treatment, ask your doctor for advice.
