Our vitamin B12 Mecobalactive® is produced in Europe according to a patented and environmentally friendly manufacturing process. It is a pure, very stable and bioactive form (directly metabolized by the body). Its absorption is already at the level of your oral mucosa (let the tablet melt on the tongue).

Its intake is nice with a good taste of cherry and it is easy to use since it is enough to melt the tablet on the tongue (no need for water).

For whom?

  • From 50 years old, the absorption of vitamin B12 from the supply decreases, which increases vitamin B12 needs.
  • Vegetarians and vegansbecause the foods they consume contain little or no vitamin B12. Indeed, Vitamin B12 is mainly in animal products.
  • Pregnant and lactating womenbecause the need for vitamin B12 is increased.

Do you have enough vitamin B12

A dietary supplement to forte dose is recommended to temporarily reconstruct the vitamin B12 buffer in the liver so too little vitamin B12 has been ingested over a longer period of time. Vitamin B12 in the form of methylcobalamin, as in Mecobalactive®, is very well tolerated at the 500 μg dose and is also safe.

Perfect assimilation of this form of B12 present in MecObalactive®

In order to be assimilated at the intestine level (at the ileon level), vitamin B12 must be pre-linked to the intrinsic factor at the stomach level.

Gastric mucosa disorders and certain drugs, interfere with the production of the intrinsic factor which is not produced in sufficient quantity. In this case, Mecobalactive is perfectly indicated.

The choice of active form: methylcobalamin

Methylcobalamin (contained in Mecobalactive®) and adenosylcobalamin are the only two bioactive forms of vitamin B12 and therefore the most effective for the body. Methylcobalamin being the most common.

However, cyanocobalamin is also the shape contained in many food supplements. This must be transformed into methylcobalamin, bioactive form, before you can play its roles. Cyanocobalamin also has a lower half-life than methylcobalamin, which suggests a potentially lower activity.

On the other hand, methylcobalamin found in Mecobalactive® is directly used by the body, which ensures good activity and speed of action.
