PEA: a molecule naturally present in your body
PEA, or palmitoylethanolamide, is a substance naturally present in the body, particularly in the brain.
The body naturally produces it in response to various forms of stress. However, its production tends to decrease with age.
PEA is also present in very small amounts in certain foods, including eggs, milk and some vegetable oils.
