23 times concentrated in antioxidant polyphenols
The pomegranate, also called “the apple of paradise”, is said to be a symbol for a long and healthy life.
Each bottle of Dr. Jacob’s pomegranate elixir contains the juice and pulp of over 50 sun-ripened pomegranates – freshly pressed, gently concentrated at low temperature and enriched with bioactive, live fermented pomegranate antioxidants. The special antioxidant phytochemicals in pomegranate juices are called polyphenols.
Dr. Jacob’s pomegranate elixir (1) is 23 x more concentrated in antioxidant polyphenols than juice from concentrate (2) and 36 x more concentrated than fresh pomegranate juice (2) .
Patented: With live fermentation according to Dr. Jacob´s EC-Patent (EP2132994 )
Practical: 50 servings for 25 to 50 days pure or mixed with drinks or food
Paradisical: Healthy and tasty
Good value: Thanks to the extremely high concentration of phytochemicals it is more cost effective than pomegranate juices.
More safety: certified and controlled in quality and content
A high quality is ensured by regular tests of polyphenolic content, antioxidant capacity as well as very stringent residue checks for pesticides. Therefore the Öko-Control certificate was awarded.
Dr. Jacob’s Medical, a family-run company in Germany, is the market and innovation leader in the medicinal qualities of pomegranates. Dr. Jacob’s pomegranate elixir was the first pomegranate product in Germany, rich in active agents. Their pomegranate elixir is exclusive due to its palatable taste, because of its especially high concentration of active phytochemicals (polyphenols) and the application of a patented live fermentation processes in its production. The natural fermentation process with probiotic micro-organisms is an European patent of Dr. L.M. Jacob (Ph.D./M.D.). Due to its gentle production and the natural fermentation processes Dr. Jacob’s pomegranate elixir (500 mmol/l TEAC) has 80 times more antioxidative capacity (TEAC) than red wine/green tea (3) and 25 times more antioxidative capacity than pomegranate juice respectively (3).
Recommendation: Enjoy daily at least 1-2 table spoons (10-20 ml) as a vitalizing elixir of life. Add as an exotic delicacy to drinks, cocktails and foodstuffs in 1001 variations. Please pay special attention to a balanced, varied diet, combined with a healthy lifestyle. Consume within 7 weeks of opening and store in the refrigerator. Shake before use.
A high quality is maintained by regular tests of the polyphenol content and antioxidant capacity with very stringent residue checks for pesticides, resulting in the award of the Öko-Control certificate. The product is not yet certified as organic, but contrary to certified organic products where a lot of adulteration takes place, each raw material batch is checked for pesticides. In 5 years no pesticides were detected, and if so, it was below the limit for certified organic products, (compared to juice strength).
