"I feel tired".

Your wife asks you, "Did you take your vitamins?"

"At the moment, I'm stressed."

Your mom advises you then: "Have you ever tried to take vitamins? "

But about, what are the vitamins we are talking about so often?

The vitamins are made in small quantities by your diet and they participate in many functions of your organization. Examples:

  • The vitamin c Participates in normal energy metabolism (tone, vitality)
  • The vitamins b intervene in the normal functioning of your nervous system and help you in case of passenger stress
  • The vitamin D intervenes in the normal functioning of your immune defenses and with the vitamin kThey participate in maintaining your normal framework.
  • Vitamin D helps reduce the risk of falls, which are a risk factor for bone fractures in men and women aged 60 and over.

These vitamins are therefore very interesting, but your organization is unable to make them! (except for vitamin D, via The exposure of your skin to the UV rays of the sun and vitamin K via Your microbiota).

Fortunately, you find them in your daily diet or in some food supplements.

A healthy diet and supplementation contribute to a contribution to these vitamins and thus to a healthy functioning of your body.

What types of vitamins exists?

There are 2 types of vitamins:

1) Liposoluble vitamins

These are stored in your body.

  • Vitamin D
  • Vitamin E
  • Vitamin k
  • Vitamin a

2) Water-soluble vitamins

These are not stored in your body and are eliminated via urine or perspiration.

  • Vitamin c
  • Vitamins b
    • Vitamin B1 (thiamine)
    • Vitamin B2 (Riboflavina)
    • Vitamin B3 (Niacin or Nicotinamide)

    • Vitamin B8 (biotin)
    • Vitamin B9 (folic acid or its active methylfolate form)
    • Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamine or cyanocobalamine)

Vitamins B

Vitamins B are part of the water-soluble vitamins (they are soluble in water).

Your organization does not know how to store them (except for vitamin B12), and so any surplus is evacuated mainly via urine.

There are 8 different types of Vitamins B and most promote the normal operation of your nervous system, which is why you often find them in synergy in food supplements. You can then read on the label of these complements they contain the "Vitamin B Complex". For example, Alca Melisse B +, B-kudzu, Lactacholine... Other food supplements offer high concentrations in some specific forms of B vitamins, as needs are more important because the diet (eg vegan) requires an additional need for food to do not fill. For example, Folic Activ, Vitamin B12 Activ...
